Choosing a blog theme
I just spent the last 30 minutes looking for a theme for my blog. I know…right? Seriously? 30 minutes? I don’t have anything better to do? Nope, I certainly do…
Of course I wasn’t about to spend any money, so it had to be something free. Couple this with the fact that any theme I choose is my face to the outside world and you can imagine its not the easiest task to find a free theme that really reflects my style and personality.
Anyway, I settled on what you see before you. It’s thrilling, I know. I’m sure I’ll keep my eye out for exciting new themes and possibly replace this one. I even thought about digging into the code and playing with some of the CSS (the stuff that makes a webpage look the way it does), but realized that was a BAD idea.
So for the time enjoy this sweet little theme. It’s got a kind of modern-clean-easy-to-read look I like. Hopefully you enjoy it as well.
Next I’ll write something about what I’m going to write here – kind of like the manifesto for my little corner of the web. Writing about writing…would make my “English for Engineers” professor so proud. Or possibly remarkably depressed, I’m not sure. Oh and not for nothing, but I’ll try to be better about writing here than the last one. I guess I can sort of say what I want here, so conceivably with less censorship comes more interesting material.
